I have just moved into a new studio in Point Loma! This charming shop front is actually part of the oldest house in Point Loma, brought over on a barge in the 1800′s. The first time I stepped through the door I just fell in love with the place. A white picket fence, wrap around porch, and hardwood floors create a peaceful and intimate setting for fittings and consultations.

Come celebrate with me on April 21st for my grand opening and trunk show! Get answers to your wedding gown questions, try on gorgeous gowns, and see the newest designs in my collection. You will also be able to sample deserts from Tailored Sweets and meet other local wedding professionals.

Oh my darling Clementine! This natural waist, sweetheart strapless gown is made in a lovely and unusual soft mesh fabric with large polka dots. Beaded satin cut-out motifs, appliqued onto tulle, are layered over satin with a lace-like cut-out pattern, creating layers of depth and complex textures. No, those aren’t wings, but in this dress you will seem to float rather than walk. This angelic tulle confection is built on a bustier foundation, providing support and structure to the natural waist, below which the skirt billows out in layers of tulle over a soft cotton sateen. Illusion straps tie at the shoulders in a fanciful tuft of tulle. This gown can be made in white or ivory.

My 1950′s Brigitte dress has been so popular that I decided to make a full length version, inspired by Marilyn Monroe’s famous white dress. This Dior-style dress features a plunging halter neckline, ruched midriff, and full gathered skirt. It is made in a soft, semi-sheer swiss dot cotton lined in cotton sateen. With this dress you will be comfortable even on the hottest summer day, and won’t want to stop twirling around in this fun flowy skirt! This dress combines an illusion lace over a sweetheart neckline with an a line tea length skirt, perfect for a beach, garden, or destination wedding. The simplicity of the design allows me to offer it and a great price while not compromising on the quality of materials. The skirt is made of unlined luxurious silk jersey that softly hugs your curves, while the bodice is lined with a double layer for added support. Delicate chantilly lace (not an imitation french lace!), is hand appliqued over the bodice, and the sash is made of silk charmeuse. So sweet and feminine! Inspired by Degas’ paintings of ballet dancers, this ballet length dress is both sweet and sassy. Alphonse Mucha’s sirens with their draped gowns floating in the breeze are the inspiration for this design. This gown is truly modern chic, with geometric square motifs inspired by Piet Mondrian. The unusual devoir silk satin fabric is one of my favorites because it is simultaneously bold and delicate, and the sweep train floats delightfully in the slightest breeze! The gown has a ruched silk charmeuse waistband and is fully lined in charmeuse and habotai silk. The halter neckline is held in place by a strand of glass pearls, fastened in the back with a silver clasp.
