Megan was married on New Year’s Eve at Sunset Cliffs in San Diego. I have a special soft spot for that location, as it is just a few miles from my studio and one of my favorite spots for a sunset stroll! The couple had a second reception in Chicago at the House of Blues. When Megan came to me for a custom dress, she wanted something that would be casual enough for a beach wedding, but glamerous enough for the House of Blues. We decided on a beachy halter silhouette, but made in a regal french alencon lace for that touch of elegance. Keeping the lines clean and simple allows the lace to speak for itself and keeps the focus where it should be – on the bride! Megan was so patient with multiple fittings to get the fit just right, and as the photos show, it was well worth it!
Thank you for helping create my dream wedding gown. Between your expertise, creativity, and patience…. I was able to celebrate the most important day of my life truly feeling like a princess. A goddess. Words cannot begin to explain how much I absolutely LOVE my dress. I received an uncountable amount of compliments as well. Please know how much I truly appreciate everything. I am beyond luck to have found you to design my dream dress.
