Cezanne’s tulip still life and use of multiple perspectives that were the precursor to cubism are the inspiration for this dress. The silhouette celebrates feminine curves with an asymmetrically pleated tulip skirt with a slit in the side front. For a second look the skirt can be converted into a bubble skirt. The pleated bust echoes the shape of tulip petals. Intricate floral venetian lace adorns the waist, neckline, and back, adding a touch of delicacy. The gown is made in luscious silk satin and lined in silk habotai.
